Ray De La Paz

Puerto Rican salsero Ray De La Paz was born in Spanish Harlem and grew up in the Bronx, and cemented his salsa pedigree early in his career on four albums with with legendary conguero Ray Baretto. He helped lay the foundation for salsa romantica on his 1982 LP with Louie Ramirez, Noche Caliente—The pair would go on to record three gold albums together: “CON CACHE!” (1984), “ALEGRES y ROMANTICOS” (1985) and “SABOR CON CLAZE!” (1986). De La Paz has also brought his talents to Broadway, appearing in Paul Simon’s 1997 production “THE CAPEMAN,” and scored a Grammy win with Spanish Harlem Orchestra for their 2004 LP “Across 110th St.”

Ralphie Mercado

Ralphie Mercado has worked as a radio DJ at New York's WSKQ 97.9 FM, La Mega, quickly becoming a fan favorite. He later went on to have his own mxi show on Univision's flagship station, WCA 105.9fm, La Kalle. and La X96.3 fm. He has also crossed over into the Urban market playing on Hot97 &WBLS. Mercado has had a career spanning over two decades working along artists the likes of: Daddy Yankee, Don Omar, Farruko, Bad Bunny, Tego Calderon, Ivy Queen, Wisin yYandel, Cardi B, Fabolous, El Gran Combo de Puerto Rico, Gilberto Santa Rosa, Victor Manuelle, Jerry Rivera, Elvis Crespo, Luis Fonsi and more.
